Acolytes

Join the Acolyte Ministry

The word acolyte means “follower” or “one who helps.” At St Thomas, acolytes help the priests lead worship by carrying the cross and torches, helping to set up the Eucharist and actively participating in the worship service. The acolyte ministry is open to all youth who are entering the fifth grade and up. There will be regular formation and training sessions during the year.
