Are you intrigued by all the amazing stories that you have heard from our youth about our youth summer ministry trips to MT TOP? Here is an opportunity for you to spend a long weekend in the Cumberland Plateau doing the same types of things without the heat and humidity and with beautiful fall foliage.

Kyle Roberts and John Tiffany are organizing a joint Redeemer St Thomas AIM trip to MT TOP for October 11-14. We will drive down Thursday afternoon, October 11, Work Friday and Saturday on major home repair projects in Grundy County and drive home on Sunday, October 14. We will stay at the Cumberland Pines Camp near Altamont, TN.

There are 4 other AIM weekends that are available if the October 11-14 dates don’t work with your schedule( Oct 4-7, Oct 18-21( Pls call Mt TOP if you want to go this weekend as it appears to be full), Oct 25-28, and Nov 1-4. This program works a little different from the youth summer ministry in that each adult is responsible for sending in their own paperwork. The cost is $200.00 with $100.00 due now and $100 due September 17th. All the information is on the MT TOP website; http://www.mountain-top.org under the ministries tab.

This is the third year that Redeemer and St. Thomas have coordinated a joint trip. It is a great experience and lets you see and experience the same things our youth experience each summer. Even though this program is focused on major home repair projects you do NOT need any construction experience to participate as we will also be meeting the spiritual, social, and emotional needs of the families that we are working with. Janey Carman worked with a number of these families this summer so they will be excited to meet some more folks from St Thomas as they dearly love Janey.
