Updates and Pictures – November 2022

Comments from Paul Fritts:

The casework is well on its way to completion with most of the framework, inside and out, ready for the moulding to be cut, fit and glued in place.

Also shown are the windchests nearing completion.  The toe boards that get screwed to the tops of the chests are fitted with rackboards now waiting for the pipes to be fitted.  Pipe making and voicing are ongoing and the sounds are great.

First pictures of the new organ!

Here are some pictures of the earliest stages of our new organ, being built by Paul Fritts & Co. in Tacoma, Washington.

These include the floor frame in place, a close-up of the channel dividers in the windchest grids, case back panels, Oak being brought into the woodshop by Andreas and Rain, Greg soldering pipe feet, cut out pipe pieces, cut out pipes in the trays, completed Rohrflöte 4′, and the windchest grids.
