2012 St. Thomas Music Camp

To register, see the bottom of this page or click here.

The St. Thomas Music Camp is a fun-filled week of music, games, friends, and fun for children ages 7-12! During the week campers will improve their singing, learn music theory, and experience the art of music in a new way!

This year’s camp includes: an introduction to music theory via a special online learning center; a special presentation from St. Thomas organist Jason Gunnell; a morning trip to downtown Cincinnati where we will tour Christ Church Cathedral, Music Hall, the newly renovated Washington Park, and lunch at Skyline; Music Olympics!; and a final day party with lunch!

We will have one special project: during the week campers will collaborate on creating a new composition. We will talk about setting words to music, harmony, melody, rhythm and conclude the week with a premiere of our new composition.

The fee for the camp is $25 which includes, snacks, Friday’s lunch, and a camp t-shirt.
