Our children are not only the future of the church, they are the church. They must be equipped to grow in their faith and to sow goodness in a spiritually hungry world. Our goal for this ministry is to help children and youth find their place in the church and see that their presence is vital here. We look forward to build upon the work that has already been done to welcome young people and families into the life of the church.
2022-2023 Children’s & Youth Formation
Sundays
- Nursery: nursery care will continue to be offered for infants and toddlers through age 3.
- Children’s Chapel: Elementary school children are invited to attend Children’s Chapel. They will enjoy music, bible stories, prayer and art. Children can be dropped off in the formation rooms on the third floor between 10:00 and 10:15. Children will be brought to the nave to join their families for the Eucharist and the remainder of the service.
- Preschool Story Time: Pre-school children are invited to attend Children’s Chapel. Children will explore Montessori style materials, create art, and hear bible stories specially crafted for their age. Children can be dropped off in the formation rooms on the third floor between 10:00 and 10:15. Children will be brought to the nave to join their families for the Eucharist and the remainder of the service.
- Youth Group: Middle school and high school students are invited to join us in the Guild Room each Sunday from 11:30-12:30. This year we will take a journey through the Bible from beginning to end. Each session will also include some community building time.
Thursdays
- Junior Choristers: 5-6pm
- Senior Choristers: 5-7:15pm (dinner provided)
- Parish Choir Youth: Study room available 4:00-7:00 (dinner provided)
